Mudslide forces closure of Highway 152 near Watsonville Copy Link {copyShortcut} to copy Link copied! Updated: 7:57 AM PDT Mar 23, 2023 Highway 152 is closed due to a mudslide, the California Highway Patrol said.The highway, which connects Watsonville and Gilroy, is closed from Casserly Road to Watsonville Road.According to the CHP, the large mudslide happened overnight. Caltrans is currently on the scene and says that there is no estimated time for reopening.
